A single, outgoing percussionist inhabits the top floor of an apartment complex where he frequently entertains his musician friends as well. A glass-enclosed space allows him to host drum lessons while controlling for sound, while his. personal living space occupies the mezzanine level above. The design culminates in a dramatic, Scarpa-inspired stair.
